History
1999- The idea for Numbskull – The SAT Prep Game was developed. The goal was to provide a fun, interactive way for students to prep for the SAT. Instead of sitting alone in their room preparing from black and white books, students were able to play a game with friends, classmates, or their family. Questions used pop culture as a tool to help students learn the ins-and-outs of the SAT, making learning fun. An overarching goal of Numbskull was to level the playing field for students nationwide — many student’s can afford expensive test courses or private tutors, so
2002- Numbskull – The SAT Prep Game debuted at the Toy Fair and began to be sold nationwide through Barnes & Noble, Borders and many other outlets. Numbskull went on to win the 2002 Parent’s Choice Award.
2007- The re-formatted SAT led to the perfect time to refine Numbskull and expand its offering to include other subjects. In order to meet the goal of helping out all students FOR FREE, we decided to take Numbskull to Social Media and begin building a Facebook Application.
2009- Numbskull won the Cincinnati Innovates competition.
